MTWS Interview Process.

MoneyTeam Web Services (MTWS) believes that a educated customer is a good customer. Many business aren't sure they want a website, or even if they had one what would they put there?

This page can help answer some of those questions. This page is designed so you can provide us at MTWS with your thoughts and ideas. (It's also in black and white for easy printing!) It's part of our Interview process and hopefully it will start you in the right direction. We also hope that after reviewing this page you will know a lot more about the development of a Web site. Your Web Site!

First things first: What is the Goal of Your Web Site? Here are some common reasons for a business site on the Web.

  • Sell products or services directly to the customer. (e-commerce)
  • Encourage potential customers to contact you by e-mail, on line forms or phone to request information about your products or services. (marketing, advertising)
  • Increase the list of prospective buyers. (marketing, advertising)
  • Provide a centralized location for geographically separate employees to keep up with the home office. (communications)
  • Provide current product information and price list updates along with new services which can be made available immediately, to your customers 7 days a week, 365 days a year! (marketing, communications, customer base building)
  • Demonstrate that your business is a progressive business by establishing a Web presence. (marketing, advertising)
  • You may have other goals or objectives:_________________________

Once you have a Goal, you've got to have a name, a Domain Name to be precise. You need a Domain Name for your business Web site. You can use your own business name, (ie billiesshoes.com) as long as no one else has already taken it. Try to make your Web site address descriptive, unique and as easy to remember. Jot down a few Domain Names:

1.www.__________________.com

2.www.__________________.com

3.www.__________________.com

4.www.__________________.com

We can check their availability for you or you can check them yourself using various services across the internet. What is it that you want on your Web Site?

Many customers aren't sure what they want on their web site. Make a little chart and fill it in with info about your business, like this...

This is just a suggestion, you may have other topics for your particular business. Be creative, but remember for serious business sites content is king! Content is the most important aspect of your site. You must be able to provide specific information to your customers in a way that it is both interesting and informative.

That's a good start! Play around with your layout, dig out your brochures, company logo, photos or other items related to your business. Put it all on a table and grab a couple sheets of paper. If you can get a handle on these first three steps and have done some initial layout of your site your jump to the web will be easier than ever!

When you have a idea of where you want to go and what you want to do on the web drop us a line, if you can dream it, we can probably do it at MTWS! Happy designing, the Webmaster.
